VALGENT : Validation of HPV genotyping tests potentially usable in cervical cancer screening

VALGENT is a study framework for test comparison and validation of HPV assays in general and HPV genotyping tests in particular according to clinically relevant outcomes and for clinical applications endorsed by scientific evidence.

A dozen of HPV assays have been evaluated using archived cervical cytology specimen collected in the framework of the cervical cancer screening programmes in Belgium, Scotland, Slovenia and Denmark.
